Fees & FAQs

Therapy is an investment in your time, your energy, and yes, your finances. It’s also one of the most meaningful investments you can make in yourself. I want to be transparent about what that looks like so you can make a clear-eyed decision about whether working together is the right fit for you.

What can I expect in the first session?

The first session is about getting to know each other and laying the groundwork for our work together. I’ll want to hear about the major relationships in your life, your work or school situation, relevant history, and of course, what’s bringing you to therapy right now. Understanding you as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms, is key to providing care that actually fits. Think of it less as an intake and more as a first real conversation.

How often will we meet?

I typically meet with clients on a weekly basis, especially early in our work together. Over time, we may mutually agree to move to every other week depending on how you’re doing and what you need. If it’s ever clinically appropriate to meet more than once a week, I’m open to that as well.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time, I offer telehealth appointments only. I hold all sessions from a private space and ask that you do the same: somewhere you feel comfortable speaking freely.

How long does therapy usually last?

This depends on a lot of factors: the intensity of what you’re working through, how frequently we meet, and your own capacity to reflect and act on our work between sessions. Some people feel meaningfully better in a few months; others work with me longer. I’m happy to work within a set timeframe if that’s what you need, and we’ll always re-evaluate together as we go.

What kinds of issues are you best at helping with?

I’m most effective with people who are navigating big life changes, working through the lasting effects of trauma (especially childhood or relational trauma), struggling with anxiety or depression, or who are looking to understand their own patterns more deeply. At the core of what I do is helping people slow down, build self-awareness, and find a way forward that actually feels like them.

Will there be homework between sessions?

Sometimes, yes, but it’s always a mutual decision. Between-session work might look like reflecting on a topic we discussed, trying out a new skill, or something more structured like a worksheet. Whatever it is, we’ll decide together whether it makes sense for where you are.

Not Sure Where to Start?

The best way to get answers is to talk. A free 15-minute consultation is a no-pressure way to see if we’re a good fit and to ask anything you’re still wondering about.
